STATESBORO – Six consecutive home games, a season-opening road trip to California and a three-game multi-team event in Houston highlight the Georgia Southern men's basketball schedule, announced today by head coach Brian Burg.
In total, the Eagles will host 16 contests in Hanner Fieldhouse, the most since the 1991-92 season, when Georgia Southern played 18 games in the facility after hosting and winning the TAAC Tournament to earn the Eagles' last NCAA Tournament bid. That season was also the last time Georgia Southern hosted six consecutive home games.
"I've been saying it for years – Hanner Fieldhouse is the toughest place to play in the Sun Belt Conference," said Burg.
