Ramos is good
After her 3-0 weekend against Appalachian State, senior pitcher Kaylee Ramos was named the Sun Belt softball co-pitcher of the week. Ramos was magnificent in Saturday’s doubleheader going 3 u2154 innings over the two games striking out three Mountaineers and just one hit. On Sunday in her final game in Statesboro, Ramos started and went the distance, taking a no-hitter into the sixth. She ended with just four hits and her first career shutout.
Fisk’s big week
Despite falling in the Sun Belt Championship last week, junior golfer Steven Fisk qualified for the NCAA Kissimmee Regional.
