STATESBORO – A mandatory information meeting for Georgia Southern students interested in participating in the Edwin Jackson Memorial Walk-On Tryouts in hopes of joining the Eagle football team for this season is set for Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. at Allen E. Paulson Stadium, located at 205 Lanier Drive. Tryouts will be held at a to be determined date during fall practice at Paulson Stadium for those who attended the meeting.
Those current Georgia Southern students interested in trying out must enter Paulson Stadium through Gate 1 at the corner of Chandler Rd.
