STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern baseball team fell to the UCF Knights on Sunday afternoon, 10-1.
The Knights clinched the series with the win and improved their record to 6-1, while the Eagles fell to 2-5 on the season.
UCF's first runs came in the top of the fifth, where a two run home run and a two RBI single set the score at 4-0. UCF would add another run in the top of the seventh from a solo home run to stretch the lead to 5-0.
The Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the eighth from a Noah Ledford single through the right side, which would score Parker Biederer, bringing the score to 5-1.
