HOUSTON - Georgia Southern men's basketball fifth-year senior Kamari Brown earned the title of highest flyer in college basketball, winning the King's Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship Thursday night in the Bayou Music Center.
Brown's final dunk earned him a score of 43 and was enough to take home the hardware, but his highlight of the night came when on his second dunk of the final round when he showed off his 47-inch vertical leap by soaring over three competitors and finishing with a one-handed slam.
"I give all the glory to God, giving me the ability and the opportunity to showcase my talent," Brown said.
