WAYNESVILLE, N.C. - Led by a top-25 finish from sophomore Brycen Jones, the Georgia Southern men's golf team wrapped up play at the JT Poston Invitational on Tuesday. The three-day event was hosted by Western Carolina and was contested at the Waynesville Inn & Golf Club.
Parker Claxton led the way in the first round with a one-under 69. After bogeying three of the first four holes, the junior posted four birdies over the final 14 holes to finish on a strong note. On Monday, three Eagles led the way with even-par 70s.
