GREENSBORO, N.C. - Georgia Southern third baseman Jarrett Brown has been named an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Finalist, the organization announced on Tuesday, June 18.
Brown had his best fielding season since 2022, fielding at a .960 clip from the hot corner in 53 games this season. Brown had a total of 49 putouts and 118 assists, matching his career-high from the 2022 season. Of the 43 double plays Georgia Southern turned this season, Brown was involved with nine of them. Since mid-April, Brown's defense was rock-solid at third base, only surrendering a single error after April 19.
