COLUMBIA, S.C. – Georgia Southern Track & Field took another step towards the Sun Belt Championships with an impressive finish in the Carolina Challenge, hosted by the University of South Carolina this weekend. The Eagles notched some solid finishes in a deep field which featured 45 competing schools. Merabu Nagwandala led the way for the Eagles, scoring a fifth place finish in the Mile while setting a school record.
Next up for the Eagles is the 2019 Sun Belt Championships, later this month in Birmingham, Alabama.
