ATLANTA, Ga. - Georgia Southern softball scored twice in the top of the seventh inning to extend the game, but Georgia State led off the bottom half with a solo home run to take game one of a Sun Belt Conference series from the Eagles by a 3-2 score on Friday evening in Atlanta.
The Eagles (27-23, 11-14 SBC) and the Panthers (29-21, 13-10 SBC) will wrap up the regular season with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
