MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. - The Georgia Southern softball squad wrapped up action in the Madeira Beach Invitational by picking up a 10-2 win in five innings over Siena on Sunday in Madeira Beach, Fla.
The Eagles (13-7) finish the weekend with two wins and will now turn their attention to Sun Belt Conference play, which opens up this coming weekend with a three-game series at Appalachian State.
"You always want to walk away with as many wins as you can in a weekend," Georgia Southern Head Coach Kim Dean said. "We're satisfied with some of the lessons we learned and coming away with the wins we got, and ending on a high note is how you want to leave any tournament.
