ATLANTA – Michael Devoe tallied 26 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Georgia Tech held Georgia Southern to 29 percent shooting in the second half to grind out a 61-59 men's basketball win over the Eagles Friday afternoon in McCamish Pavilion.
The Eagles had the ball with 7.8 seconds left following a Devoe free throw, but Elijah McCadden's 3-point try from the top of the key caromed off the rim as the buzzer sounded.

McCadden finished the contest with 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists, and Cam Bryant made four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points, seven boards, three assists and two steals.
