STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Baseball completed its first series sweep of 2019 with an 11-6 thrashing of Arkansas State on Sunday morning. The Eagles scored six runs in the second inning to blow the game open, but it was a Steven Curry solo home run to start the bottom of the first that set the tone. The home run was Curry's first in Statesboro and led the Eagles to their fourth-straight double-digit scoring game. The Eagles will slide up to Kennesaw State on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game against the Owls.
