Georgia Southern Falls on Friday at Arkansas State in Extra Innings

JONESBORO, ARK. - Georgia Southern Baseball dropped the series opener to Arkansas State, 6-5 on Friday night in 10 innings. The Eagles scored early, but the Red Wolves bounced back to take a 4-1 lead through five. The Eagles would take the lead in the top of the ninth, but the Red Wolves answered in the bottom of the frame, sending the game to extra innings. A walk-off double to left plated the winning run from first base to hand the Eagles the loss.
