STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern softball team dropped a pair of games Saturday on the second day of the Bash in the Boro at Eagle Field. In the opener, Saint Francis exacted revenge from Friday night's loss in downing the Eagles 10-1 in six innings, and Southern dropped a 10-7 decision to Winthrop in the second game.

The Red Flash wasted little time in jumping out to a big lead, putting three runs on the board in the top of the first inning. The Eagles didn't panic and fought right back in the bottom half of the inning.
