Georgia Southern baseball squared off against the College of Charleston at Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah 3-1, improving their record to 16-13 on the season.
Despite only accumulating seven hits through the course of the game, the Eagles lead from the very first inning of play, when redshirt senior Tyler Martin drove in junior Steven Curry with an RBI double to open up the scoring at 1-0. GS got runs in the bottom of the second and fifth innings, all behind hits from Curry, who matched a career high with four hits in his 4-for-4 night. In addition to his four hits on the night, Curry crossed home plate twice for two runs scored.
