STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics is proud to launch the G.P.S. Leadership Development Program, a strategic initiative designed to accelerate the professional growth and leadership capabilities of middle managers within the department.
The G.P.S. Leadership Development Program—standing for Growth, Preparation and Success—will run from September 2024 to May 2025. This program is crafted to equip middle managers with the essential skills, knowledge and perspectives needed to excel in future leadership roles within the department and industry.
Participants, nominated by the Athletics' Executive Staff, will engage in monthly sessions covering a broad range of topics, including self-awareness, public speaking, talent acquisition, sports administration and crisis management.
