LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Georgia Southern blew the opening game in a three-game Sun Belt Conference series open with a seven-run seventh inning, defeating the Little Rock Trojans on the road 13-2 on Friday night.
Georgia Southern's (33-16, 19-6 SBC) Ty Fisher and Little Rock's (21-23, 9-15 SBC) Hayden Arnold battled through the first four innings of the game, not allowing either team to get an advantage. Arnold allowed five hits to the Eagles before GS scored in the top of the fifth inning, and Ty Fisher was hitless until the bottom of the fifth inning.
