STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 59 expected graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Monday evening at Bishop Field House. The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at Georgia Southern University's upcoming commencement ceremonies where at least one member of 14 GS athletics programs will earn their degree.
Forty of the student-athletes also received rings signifying that they will be graduating with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA). Those 40 are Jaap Aaldering (MT), Wilson Andress (MG), Maverick Boring (MSOC), Colin Bowles (MG), Cameron Braswell (MSOC), Troy Britts (BSB), Jarrett Brown (BSB), Baylor Bumford (VB), Ben Carr (MG), Olivia Creamer (SB), Matthew Daniel (FB), Reid Dedman (FB), Valentin Dun (MT), Meredith Eckard (VB), Lydia Evans (SD), Alejandra Gracia, (WSOC), Lillian Herring (RF), Paula Hijos (WT), Thomas Jackson (MSOC), Emily Jones (SD), Ashley Judson (RF), Jona Kafka (MSOC), Lilly Kasra (SD), Anna Mayo (RF), Jacob Mitchell (MT), Gabby Morrow (RF), Kamryn Nobles (WSOC), Alex Raynor (FB), Kyleigh Richardson (SB), Alexandros Roumpis (MT), Andrei Savrasov (MBB), Jesse Sherrill (BSB), Kinley Stewart (SB), Abby Strong (VB), Grace Underwood (VB), Mason Williams (MG), Karin Winka, (WSOC) and Chase Winters (MSOC).
