STATESBORO - Georgia Southern freshman outfielder Emma Davis has earned a spot on the 2023 Sun Belt All-Conference softball team, announced today by league officials.
Davis was named to an At-Large spot on the team for hitting a team-best .353 with eight doubles, 12 RBI, nine stolen bases and a team-high .427 on-base percentage. The Grayson, Ga., native collected 11 multi-hit games and had hitting streaks of both 10 games and eight games during the year. The .353 batting average is the highest for a Georgia Southern freshman since Taylor Rogers hit .
