STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Baseball put a pounding on Georgia State, 19-5 on Thursday night to open the three game series. The Eagles posted 19 hits with eight going for extra bases including a season-high four home runs. The Eagles delivered back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning as the home side scored in all but one inning.
