NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern football returned to practice on Monday inside the Caesars Superdome in preparation for the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The day included meetings before their first practice at 11:30 a.m. and a team outing to Fogo de Chao.
After breakfast, the Eagles opened the day with a team meeting and positional meetings before loading the buses for their first practice inside the Caesars Superdome. The team took in the venue and Marc Stampley II was excited to be back in the city in which he was born. He was born in New Orleans and his family moved following Hurricane Katrina.
