JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Georgia Southern men's golf team took five of the eight matches to claim a 5-3 victory in the singles portion of Monday's Pablo Creek Cup against Jacksonville University in match play action. The two teams tied 6-6 in overall competition. With the singles win, the Eagles earn the victory point in Clippd, the official rankings for NCAA Golf.
Jacksonville took the foursome matches 3-1 with Hogan Ingram and Ian Glanton pairing up for a 3&2 victory.
After a quick break, the Eagles came storming out in singles play and took the all-important team point in that portion of the day, 5-3.
