ATLANTA - Georgia Southern used a 15-hit attack to split a Sun Belt Conference softball doubleheader from host Georgia State on Saturday, claiming the series from the Panthers. Georgia State took game one of the doubleheader, 6-3, but the Eagles won the second game, 14-3, in five innings.
The split secured a second straight Sun Belt series win for the Eagles (16-22, 6-9 SBC) as Georgia Southern has now won five of its last six in league play.
