GREENVILLE, SC - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team came away with a 4-1 victory over the Furman Paladins on Saturday afternoon, avenging a 2-5 loss from the 2022 season.
The Paladins (4-6) were able to take a 1-0 lead early in the match by taking the doubles point from the Eagles. The No. 2 position was won first, but Laurent Julia Calac and Matthew Mitchell at the No. 3 position would tie the doubles point up at 1-1. At the No. 1 position, the Furman duo took the 6-4 decision to clinch the doubles point.
