STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern baseball team took both games in a doubleheader with Troy on Saturday at J.I. Clements Stadium after weather forced Friday's series opener to move to Saturday. The Eagles overwhelmed Troy in the first game for a 24-1 win, and the Eagles clinched the series in the second game, 8-4.
GAME ONE
Georgia Southern (30-15, 16-6 SBC) wasted no time getting on the board, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first inning, highlighted by a Parker Biederer double that would clear the bases and score Sam Blancato, Austin Thompson and Noah Ledford.
