Eagles Retire Final 17 Batters, Extend Winning Streak to Five

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern baseball retired the final 17 batters of the ballgame on Tuesday evening at J.I. Clements Stadium to defeat the UNF Osprey 8-6. The Eagles improved to 18-13 on the season, while UNF falls to 9-15 on the year.

Hayden Harris picked up his first win of the season, improving to 1-1, after pitching three innings of no-hit baseball. Harris recorded five strikeouts, as the Osprey struck out 10 times in the game.

Steven Curry got the Eagles on the board in the first inning, homering for the second time in as many games this season to left field.
