KENNESAW, Ga. - Georgia Southern women's tennis picked up its third straight win on Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 victory over host Kennesaw State at the Betty Siegel Courts.
The Eagles moved to 4-1 on the season with the victory, while Kennesaw State fell to 1-2 on the season with the loss. Georgia Southern returns to action on Friday, traveling to Charleston, S.C., to take on the College of Charleston at 1:30 p.m.
Kennesaw State earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead.
Georgia Southern came out strong in singles, winning the first sets in all six singles matches.
