HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Georgia Southern women's tennis ran its current Sun Belt win streak to four with a 4-0 victory over host Southern Miss on Saturday afternoon in Hattiesburg.
The Eagles moved to 13-3 overall and 4-1 in the league with the victory, while Southern Miss fell to 6-7 overall and 1-5 in the league. Georgia Southern returns to action on Sunday, facing South Alabama in an 11 a.m. ET Sun Belt contest from Mobile.
Georgia Southern collected the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. The Eagles then clinched the match with three straight-set singles victories.
