Statesboro, Ga --- The Georgia Southern men's soccer team drew with the UAB 2-2 at Bo Pitts Field on Sunday night (September 15th).
Both team came out aggressive in the first half as both teams each received a yellow card in the opening four minutes. The Eagles were the attackers early on as they had 3 shots in the opening 15 minutes. However, the Blazers were the ones to strike first as UAB's Lucas Rizzo fired off a shot from a cross-in in the 16th minute. The rest of the half saw no other goals as it was the Eagles who led in shots 6-2 at the half break and with the advantage in fouls, 5-2.
