STATESBORO, Ga. - Under the bright morning sun with some dew on the grass, the 2017 Georgia Southern spring football season officially kicked off at 7:56 a.m. Thursday morning when Darrius Sapp and Christian Matthew were the first Eagles to cross over Beautiful Eagle Creek to begin the first of 15 allowable practices during the off-season.
With new strength & conditioning coach Dwayne Chandler at the reigns, the Eagles were quickly into formation for agility and stretching before breaking off for just over two hours of high intensity practice in helmets only.
