ATHENS - Georgia Southern men's tennis picked up several impressive results during the weekend at the ITA Southeast Regionals, hosted by the University of Georgia.
The regionals, which were originally scheduled to be hosted in Orlando, were moved to the campus of UGA and pushed back a week due to Hurricane Milton.
Aaron James Williams and Dimitris Paliouras each advanced in the main singles draw, with Williams knocking off a seeded Eric Scheissl of Florida State in Round of 64 action. Paliouras won a pair of main draw matches to advance to the Round of 16, knocking off opponents from Stetson and Mercer.
