TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 74-ranked Georgia Southern women's tennis team got back in the win column on Saturday, defeating host Florida A&M by a 4-0 score in Tallahassee.
The Eagles improve to 8-2 on the year, while Florida A&M falls to 3-9. Georgia Southern returns to action on Sunday, hosting Davidson in a 1 p.m. non-conference match at the Wallis Tennis Center.
Georgia Southern earned the doubles point in the match by winning at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 doubles. Liv Ryan and Sophie Wagemaker teamed to defeat Sara Rakim and Sierra Sandy, 6-4, at the top doubles spot.
