STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's basketball topped the century mark on Sunday afternoon in defeating Life University, 103-65, at Hanner Fieldhouse to move to 4-1 on the season.
The Eagles have now scored 100+ points five times in the Anita Howard era, and Georgia Southern starts the year 4-1 for a second straight season.
Life hit a pair of threes in the game's first four minutes en route to taking an 11-5 lead on the host squad, but Georgia Southern responded with a 16-2 run over the next three minutes to take control of the contest.
