Eagles Fare Well At ITA Championships In Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. - Three Georgia Southern men's tennis players competed in qualifying rounds for the 2024 ITA Men's Tennis Championships over the weekend.

Senior Dimitris Paliouras, junior Pierre Mouesca and junior Aaron James Williams took part in singles qualifying on Saturday and Sunday, competing against some of the nation's best players.

Play began on Saturday with Round of 128 qualifying matches and all three Eagles notched wins in their first action. Paliouras defeated Karim Al-Amin of Middle Tennessee, 6-4, 7-6, while Mouesca knocked off Harry Thursfield of Wake Forest, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
