PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Georgia Southern men's tennis had their season come to a close on Saturday afternoon in Peachtree City, Georgia, falling to Georgia State 4-1 in the semifinals. Georgia Southern finished the year 12-10 and advanced to the semifinals for the second time in program history.
The Panthers jumped out to an early lead in doubles play, winning on courts two and three to take the 1-0 lead. In singles play it was all panthers winning on courts one, two and three to clinch the match. Valentin Dun scored the lone point for the Eagles, winning in straight sets at court five.
