STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern baseball team earned a sweep of UT-Arlington with a 12-1 victory in seven innings on Saturday morning at J.I. Clements Stadium.
The game began at 6:30 pm on Friday night where UT-Arlington (15-38, 7-23 SBC) took a 1-0 lead after the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the first inning, Georgia Southern (38-17, 23-7 SBC) scored three runs, the first one coming from a Chrsitian Avant RBI-single to score Jason Swan, and the second coming from Noah Ledford's third home run of the series, setting the Eagles up with a 3-1 lead.
