LAFAYETTE, LA. - Georgia Southern Baseball lost 12-0 to South Alabama on Friday evening to be eliminated from the 2018 Sun Belt Tournament. The Eagles gave up six runs in the first and three in the second and seventh innings to drop their eighth-straight contest to the Jaguars.
Georgia Southern finishes the 2018 season at 30-26, reaching the 30-win mark for the 18th time in 19 seasons under Head Coach .
South Alabama scored six in the first off four hits and three walks to post an early lead. The Jags added on in the second with a three-spot to lead 9-0.
