FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Georgia Southern played Northern Arizona to an 0-0 draw in the first contest played in the state of Arizona in Eagle women's soccer history.
The visiting Eagles moved to 1-1-2 on the season with the tie in front of an announced crowd of 777 fans at Max Spilsbury Field, while the host Lumberjacks moved to 0-2-2. Georgia Southern will wrap up its Arizona trip on Sunday, taking on Arizona State in a 10 p.m. ET contest from Tempe.
Georgia Southern best chance of the entire game may have been the first one of the night as a volley from Elis Nemtsov just 36 seconds into the match missed just over the crossbar.
