STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's tennis knocked off Louisiana, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon for its third straight Sun Belt Conference win.
The Eagles moved to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in the Sun Belt with the win, while Louisiana falls to 6-7 overall and 1-4 in the Sun Belt. Georgia Southern next hits the road next weekend, traveling to Hattiesburg, Miss., to take on Southern Miss on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Georgia Southern collected the doubles point against the Ragin' Cajuns with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Eagles then took the first set in all six singles matches.
