BOONE, N.C. – Georgia Southern Baseball (11-5, 3-0 Sun Belt) took a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon to cement a series sweep over Appalachian State (3-13, 0-3 Sun Belt). The Eagles won the first game of the day 8-6 behind a big offensive output and a solid job by the bullpen. In game two the Eagles came from behind to take the 5-1 win after Brian Eichhorn delivered 7.1 innings of three-hit ball. Next up for the Eagles is a Tuesday night trip to Mercer for a 6 p.m. game.
