STATESBORO, Ga. – With no clouds in the sky and a slight breeze, the Georgia Southern women's soccer team took to the pitch for the final home match of the season. The Eagles went out on a high note, defeating the Ragin' Cajuns 2-0 in the conference make up game. Marcela Montoya and Ashton Adams recorded goals, as Jocelyn Springer and the Eagles defense shut the door picking up the fourth shutout of the season.
In the first half the Eagles and Cajuns finished in a stalemate, each team taking four shots and not having anything to show for it.
