CONWAY, S.C. – Six runs in the first two innings were not enough for Georgia Southern Baseball who dropped the 2019 Sun Belt Baseball Championship Game, 9-7, to the host Coastal Carolina. The Eagles got a run in the first, followed by five in the second, but Coastal would rattle off nine runs between the fourth and seventh innings to take their second-straight league title.
Steven Curry reached to start the bottom of the first on a fielding error at third base, followed by a ball that rode up and in on Mason McWhorter to put runners on first and second.
