DAVIDSON, N.C. - The host Davidson Wildcats scored a pair of goals in the final 20 minutes to erase a 1-0 deficit and pick up a 2-1 women's college soccer victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Sunday afternoon at the Alumni Soccer Stadium.
Davidson improved to 2-0 on the season with the win, while Georgia Southern fell to 0-1-1. The Eagles will open up their 2021 home slate next by hosting Jacksonville on Thursday, August 26, at 4 p.m. at Eagle Field.
Georgia Southern started off the match quickly, getting a goal in the fifth minute.
