STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head football coach Chad Lunsford announced Tuesday the promotion of assistant coach Chris Foster to the role of recruiting coordinator for the Eagles. Foster, who is entering his third season as Georgia Southern's running backs coach, adds the title for the 2018 season.
"Chris Foster is a really good football coach and has done a good job here at Georgia Southern," Lunsford said. "He is a guy who is a tireless recruiter and is a very organized individual. Chris deserves this chance to coordinate our recruiting operations and I cannot wait for him to get started fully in this role.
