STATESBORO - The offense put up four touchdowns and Tyler Bass drilled two field goals in the second and final full preseason scrimmage for the Georgia Southern football team, held Friday afternoon at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
"I saw a lot of improvement from the first scrimmage to today," said head coach Chad Lunsford. "We had to fight through adversity with weather and some other factors but we didn't lose our composure. We were competitive on both sides of the ball. The offense threw a punch with a big play and the defense got mad and responded by getting fired up and making a play.
