MONROE, La. - Arsula Clark hit a driving layup at the buzzer to give host UL Monroe a 58-57 Sun Belt Conference women's basketball victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Thursday evening at the Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, La.
The Warhawks improved to 7-7 overall and 1-2 in the Sun Belt with the win, while Georgia Southern fell to 5-9 overall and 0-3 in the league with the loss.
The Eagles led by as many as 10 points in the third quarter, but ULM fought back and took the lead late, 56-55, on a pair of free throws by Jamie Means with just over a minute left.
