STATESBORO – Georgia Southern pitcher Brady Pendley was named part of the CPL Select Team, earning the opportunity to compete against the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team starting on Saturday, June 29.
"I'm thrilled [for the opportunity]," Pendley said. "This is an opportunity you don't get very often. I was actually supposed to be done playing summer ball, but this was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up."
"I just want to go out there and see what I can do."
So far this summer, Pendley has been doing well for the Macon Bacon.
