STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern head football coach Tyson Summers announced Tuesday the hiring of Bob Bodine as the Eagles' new offensive line coach. Bodine replaces Allen Mogridge, who left for Florida International for the same role.
"We are ecstatic to be able to bring Bob Bodine back to Statesboro as our offensive line coach," Summers said. "Coach Bodine has deep roots in Statesboro and is someone who knows and values the tradition of offensive line play here at Georgia Southern. Running the gun option as the offensive coordinator at The Citadel and then spending a tremendous amount of time with Coach Paul Johnson and Coach Jeff Monken will give us the ability to have an offensive line able to run out of the gun option or under center.
