Lafayette, La. --- The Georgia Southern baseball team (24-20, 10-11 SBC) defeated Louisiana (22-24, 12-9 SBC) by just a 4-3 margin on Sunday afternoon (April 27th).
Once again, it was the Cajuns who would strike first in their opening frame as a stolen base, followed by an Eagles pickoff going awry, caused the Cajuns to get a lone run in the first. Additionally, they would score a singular run in both the next two frames to take a quick 3-0 lead before the Eagles made the call to the bullpen for their best relief outing of the season.
