Tuesday boasted the first of two mid-week contests for the Georgia Southern Baseball team, who came back from a five-run deficit to down Presbyterian 10-5 in impressive fashion- improving to 15-13 on the season.
The Eagles and Blue Hose battled in the only meeting of the season between the two, where it was PC who came out scoring early, getting out to a 5-0 lead by the fifth inning before GS could push a run across.
GS added a run in the fifth and sixth inning to pull within three runs of their Big South Conference opponent, but momentum shifted in the eighth inning when the Eagles erupted for eight runs.
